another bit of fun! what looks quite tricky is actually straightforward - it's air speed that matters, the embouchure just works on a different frequency.

The tuba is Besson Sovereign EEb with a Kelly 24AW and the A. Piccolo is a Kanstul with a Vincent Bach "6" mouthpiece.

If you don't believe this is possible - come to one of our gigs...

  • great! but whats with the colourful mouthpieces?

  • @heybuddyheybuddy - Thanks. in my concerts I make instant changes between several instruments very quickly, this would be impossible without the KELLYs... check out my movie BRASSED UP! CONCERT FOR KIDS... thanks for the positive comment - have a look on the Kelly Mouthpiece website... cheers - JS

  • Hmm...doubling is always fun, but I think my head would explode going from EEb to a goofy key like A.

  • @Markworth - it's not as difficult as you'd think Mark....

  • A better pic player than tuba.

  • @jojomusic69 - well spotted JoJo... and that's why I play the trumpet for a living and the tuba just for fun.... keep those comments coming....
