Unless they changed the cams in the tibby GT, it's useless above like.. 4k rpm, I drive a 4cyl 2000 tiburon so I don't have that problem, but from what I understand, the delta engine was from the suv's, and left unchanged in those cars. At least in the earlier models of the GT, dunno about newer ones, but with a set of cams and an ecu reflash you could easily apply the torque at much more convenient rpm
