Hopefully by now you've done some training and come to realize your point is valid if you're seeing this as the only escape option but as Draculino says in the beginning this is one of many possibilities to escape, but a good one to start with to get some understanding. Obviously a Judoka will not have his legs positioned like this guy, it will be under the opponents leg stretched, but there's an escape for that also don't worry. Also, lookup who you diss before you do =]

@sheababeyeah train jiu jitsu for one year, then post again. then you'll understand.

Very useful move from the curriculum. I've heard that all of the GB schools do their weeks in sync. We just started week 1 again in North Georgia.

Though not likely legal for competition, the area right under the nose has a nerve running through it, so pushing back by putting pressure on the nerve is actually pretty painful. Also, I assume the grip on the headlock was intentional for the sake of demonstration. A finger grip like that is pretty weak.
brah, when someone headlocks u on the ground they dont give u that much space, they ussally dont giv u any space so u cant do dat

LMFAO, ok "Brah".....usually when some one headlocks you, its a sure sign there is a good chance they don't know what they are doing. They usually squeeze until they are exhausted (And then give you space) or they try to punch you (Which gives you space).
Alot of this is preventative...you don't start reacting after 5 seconds of them setting it up lol....jeez...uz ur brain, "brah". You start setting this up as they are initiating the headlock, don't let them close the space.
