  • it said 2 out of 3 aint bad but all 3 were the same (no), wut up with that?

  • It is showing that the third option (Does your internet company tell you how much bandwidth is going to your favorite website) might actually happen - without net neutrality, internet providers may be able to decide how they allocate bandwidth to individual websites.

  • My comments to the Kennedy video have not been post because they wer'ent approved by the big head murdering drunk

  • open comments here! the internet is an open and uncensored system anyway, let's preserve that at every end!

  • This video is 4 years old and the doomsday scenario they present still hasn't happened yet. "Give the government control over the internet before it's too late." I think not.

  • QUICK! THE SKY IS FALLING! GIVE MORE OF YOUR FREEDOM TO THE GOVERNMENT NOW! DON'T THINK, JUST DO WHAT WE SAY!

  • @vargulf19 I agree,,, If you freely promoting Net Neutrality that is a very good thing... But if you are promoting a creation of a new law that requires Net Neutrality... Then I think you prohibits competition and freedom (for producer and consumer)...

But I like the Idea that the Internet should be Neutral,,, but if you start to give power to the government,,, they will eventually abuse those powers. I promise you.. TRUST THE FREE MARKED (the free marked is YOU).

  • @bjarnet3 I can promote Capitalism...Is that a new idea? I can promote Christianity...Is that a new idea? I can promote good hygiene...Is that a new idea? NO promote means to advance or contribute to the growth. How do you think it deters competition? By allowing small business the same chance to compete with large corporations IS competitive. Just think if there was no Net Neutrality 10 years ago, no Facebook, no Youtube, no google. Large corporations have small starts.

  • @vargulf19 NO,, because it says, promote Net Neutrality,,, by that it means create a law that (protect the people) so that all service providers are forced to follow that law...

And in the process you create a uncompetitive system... Where the service providers do not have freedom to compete,, because equality is put before freedom... The capital will flee,, I promise you... Countries that has NET NEUTRALITY will bypass others, in new technology, in prices, in quality..

  • @bjarnet3 "Keep it as it is today" THAT IS NET NEUTRALITY YOU DOLT

  • @adiostraitorobama Homogenization and deadening of thought? That's rich coming from you.

It comes down to cable companies like Time Warner and Cox Communications--despite massive growth and record-breaking profits from their Internet Service divisions--being scared shitless that internet services like Netflix Streaming and Hulu are going to eat their lunch in the content-provider arena.

  • @adiostraitorobama They want to make sure that, when the day comes that IPTV is a legitimate competitor to cable television, they'll be able to use their roles as internet gatekeepers to extort money out of Netflix or Hulu, or to force their own customers to use their IPTV service instead of being able to shop around. There's a word for those kinds of business practices: antitrust violations.

  • @bjarnet3 Maybe so, but you can't compare one with the other. Net Neutrality is not a takeover, it's a rule that says you can't restrict what we already have?

If the telecoms have their way, we're looking at cable TV part 2 with the internet, and after four years, I still don't want to see that happen.

You might not trust the government, but how can you trust big business to do the right thinng when it's not profitable?
