One of my tarantulas, a subadult male Phormictopus cancerides, catches a cricket. This one is pretty defensive and will assume a threat posture very quickly when disturbed. It is not hesitant to bite, although like most tarantulas, its venom is not dangerous to people.
yeah..my g rosea has both a feed me dance and a victory dance.. its kinda funny to watch

I'm worried about my Cancerides, it's a sling and when I first got him/her he/she ate like a horse with they usually do when they're slings. But then after the first molt he/she wont eat anymore. I don't get it, I have many tarantulas and much knowing about them but I can't understand why he/she just stoped eating like that.

Morlain, they are not monsters...if it were not for spiders and certain "monsters" we would be knee deep in insects and there is a difference from spiders and insects. So before you say how much you hate them and why, stop and think about the role they may play in our incredibule world.
