@davemaurer basically just looks like their Type 65 coupe, just a "spyder" version (so the hood, doors and most of the chassis is the same). In 1 of the FFR DVD's they built one with a Ford Racing 5.0L 345 hp GT-40 crate engine and the red just made the Spyder GT a beautiful car. You know it kinda looks like a Shelby Series 1. too bad they canned it shortly after the GTM started. I would love to build any of Factory Five kits
Dont you just love the youtube 'experts' (including me)

these cars are designed for either a V10 or 180 degree headers. A lot of things you can put in there. You can even stick a 4 banger into it, turbocharged, that makes 450 horsepower. Look up Megasquirt II.
don't really like seeing carburated splash sump engine in it.

This engine is fuel-injected. See the fuel rails? Maybe the wiring harness? Don't let the air filter fool you.
Also these cars were designed for a Ford smallblock motor, the 302 specifically; you can fit a 351W but intake options are really limited and you have to use a very short air filter unless you modify the hood. There are no V10 or 4-cyl versions of these cars in existence that I am aware of but there is a GN TT V6 in one. Thanks for sharing your 'expertise' tho.
