I neither rage about SE nor do I rage about Monolith.
I was just stating before that Monolith is the "good" successor to squaresoft, as opposed to square enix. I was also aware that they intentionally split off. This other guy replied to me that they were fired, which I didn't believe in the first place. To avoid discussions and because it might have just happened that way (team members have an argument, some get fired and make their own team etc.) I replied.

@Donkeygamers well... this explains where the other post came from.....
is it really neccecery to bring a pissed off opinion about SE which many people won't agree on to a video about music from a game that has nothing to do with them?
if you wanna rage about SE go to the last story videos
pissed off ff fans already took control over them and forgot what the last story is anyway
at least don't do the same to xenoblade

@DirkOfNintendo they weren't fired and they left before the merge with enix
where did you get that they were fired and that it happend because of the merge i don't know
monolith soft was created in 1999 and square merged with enix in 2003

in my opinion monolith soft has been releasing good games since game cube for nintendo. cant really look down too much on baten kaitos even though it didnt have as much hype. baten kaitos and now xenoblade. thank god jrpg is still putting out big ones. ill die without jrpg @_@

Completed my first run through in 105 hours by doing all the sidequests i could and fully restoring coloney 6 and filling the collectipedia. Now i am going through it again just to experience the game again with the beautiful graphics and music

@Donkeygamers Actually, I found out that Monolith Soft, the creators of this game, are actually people who were fired when Square and Enix merged into one.

@MrFavorite01 I think that they'd be silly not to... "If Snake can be in SSB..." is used a lot, but Ness and Lucas were JRPG, and Marth and Ike are... well, I'm not 100% sure on what defines "RPG", but Fire Emblem has a similar(ish) style, at least. And considering the uproar America made over Xenoblade, too...
Also, on SE, yeah, they'd deffs need permission. Apparently Sega and Hideo Kojima were the ones to approach Nintendo on SSBB. I'm not sure about what happened with Geno.

@ASozDuck Oh wait, you're right. Well, I just feel that it is a move that Nintendo will likely not do. Only a feeling though. The character roster just wouldn't flow nicely. Somehow they managed to do Snake in Brawl out of nowhere, but a JRPG character is a bit different...
Back to Square Enix. What you said about the characters, that's because SE let Nintendo use them (if they're in it). SE as you know is their own entity so they have rights to their characters. Just like the Geno incident.

@Donkeygamers You have a point there...
Unlike with most RPGs I've played recently, this has been the only world I've really wanted to save.

Xenoblade was voted 6th best Nintendo game of all time by Famitsu readers. To put it in perspective, it beat Skyward Sword, and was voted better than any Smash Bros, Fire Emblem and Pokemon game. And I LOVE those games. Seriously, if Shulk doesn't make it into the next Smash Bros game, someone's going to get a Monado Buster to the face.
