Pro mod qualifying from Houston Texas. 14 cars qualified under the elusive 6 second barrier. Cant wait till it goes international. Includes Melaine Troxel who visited santapod. Nitrous low e.t was a 5.91 by Al Anabi team. Blown Alcohol was a 5.81 by driver Jay Payne.

not many 3300lb slammers are in the 250 mph range but thats not to take anything away because that is badass! i would love to see what would happen if u take the power and engine of a heavy door car at the same speed and put it into a lighter mod body! plus the pro mod class is starting to get into the speed and time range of alcohol funny cars and correct me if im wrong but they are even lighter! drag racing will always be my #1 fave sport!

@1994AaronSmithcars Not quite the same cars there are rules that the pro mod class have that we dont in the doorslammer class meaning there running as fast as we are with less

here in australia we got a full class of them and their call Doorslammers same thing different name and i think we started the whole class i think not sure.

It isn't called the Pro Mod Challenge anymore. It's a full fledged pro class so it's now the NHRA Get Screened Pro Mod Series.
