In this series of videos, I demonstrate the buffing process known as the "slow cut" technique. Originally designed to be used with harder paste type polishes, I show how it can also be used with polishes that have the consistency of Adam's Swirl and Haze Remover. It allows a polisher with its limited power (like the PC-7424) to be utilized on harder type clear coats.

  • Hey Junkman, just wondering where you get your supplies from (particularly the pads, backing plate, and Adam's polishes)? And what is the optimal temperature I should polish the car at (I know that it should be done in a shaded area)?

  • @sidhucer00789 I get everything I use from the Adam's Polishes website. You can too and you can also get a discount if you use my discount code. You can work in temperatures as low as 50 and as high as 90. It's really not the outside temperature that you need to watch, it's the temperature of the car's surface. That's what is really important. Too hot is a killer.

  • that looks like a KY tag! im from northern TN so i see them a lot

  • @CosmicTruthify There is only one fix for a scratch that has gone through the paint as far as I'm concerned and that is a repaint. There are scratch repair kits on the market but they never look as good as a proper respray. You can find dozens of scratch repair kits advertised here on You Tube.

  • birds must not like fords

  • LOL "butta" :) Cool vid. Never tried adams. I am currently a Menzerna/Megs 105/205 fiend. Using an old school cyclo and FLEX.
