  • There is NO scientific evidence showing that eating cholesterol and saturated fat rich foods causes clogged arteries or heart disease!! I have offered $1000 reward to doctors or anyone that can show me scientific evidence that these foods will clog your arteries. We have been brainwashed by Ancel Keys since the 1950's and his government supporters of his cholesterol myth. It's about time people start to wake up!

  • Heart attacks were lower at the beginning of century because people lived shorter lives & because the economy was mainly agricultural,people laboured hence the activity increased HDL & cardio strength.People in France eat a lot of saturated fat,but heart disease is low because of----alcohol.Moderate alcohol boosts HDL by 10-12%, reduces inflamation & relaxes the arteries,prevents bood clots,decreases c-reactive protein,in moderation.Too many studies confirm this.

  • Guys Read The Science by Ray Peat!! We Gotta Eat Only Highly Saturated Fats like Butter, Coconut Oil, Dripping, Crean, Eggs.. Unsaturated Fats in a long term make us Insuline Resistance.. Saturated Fats Are Stable They Do Not Go Rancid And Do Not Create Inflammation!!!

  • could the monos and polys they advocate to eat as fat souces help cholesterol because these make cell membranes squishy and more reative to oxygen, so the body sucks up the cholesterol to stiffen up the cell membranes and protect itself from oxidation while sat go right to the cell membranes due to less oxidative and cell prefer it?

    could the body increase fat burning with non sat fats because it wants to get rid of it rather than use for cell use?

    Let's add avocado to the list, it's a wonderful food and it's raw, actually avocado is great as in smoothie or what for breakfast, it doesn't leave you hungry.

    Coconut is a big part of my diet.

    Yes, fat is good for you, even butter etc.

    I'm from south west of France and people's diet there in rich in duck and duck's fat which we put in potato dishes etc, like roasted potato etc, that fat is really good for you, but of course, everything in moderation.

  • Ohkay. I am in year 9 and even I know that eggs, butter, red meat and even salt are essential in a diet. Red meat and eggs give you protein, butter is dairy which can help your fat content and salt...is important for something. Can't remember. Anyway, that's ridiculous. I have recently tried...starving myself to lose weight but stopped when my friends pointed out it doesn't make me thinner. can you explain why? Logically it would make sense to just lose weight but you don't seem to. Please?
