Turkey Hunting "FIREBIRD"

Called this bird in on some public ground for a buddy of mine 3-20-10.. The forest service burned about 2,000 acres to get control of a forest fire that was where we were hunting which is where the name "FIREBIRD" came from.. We roosted two gobblers about 100 yards apart the evening before and was set up on em when they woke up the next morning.. When they hit the ground they got together and i had to get a lil agressive with them to get them to commit.. 19 lbs,9" beard, 1 1/4" spurs..

The call that i am using here is made by M.A.D. CALLS and it is called the "Shipp Wreck II". Its a 2.5 reed that makes some of the sweetest soft yelps and purrs but can also cut and get fairly high in volume. It is a great all around call!!

Thats freakin outstanding work with the mouth call dude. We run n'gun em up here in PA pretty hard when we can. I have a buddy who is a lot like you with a mouth call, and demon i am with a slate, whenever we got stubborn birds i just shut up and let him do his magic with the two timer. Florida i'm guessing? Nice job guys.

@JuryMillSnowJunky .. Thanx.. yeah i like when i can fire em up and get agressive with em!! This hunt actually takes place in Mississippi on some public land that gets pressured pretty good we were about 2 miles from the truck here lol
