How to do puzzle boxes - for noobs

Okay so basically to solve puzzle boxes, start by solving the top row, followed by the second row, followed by the third row...and here's where it gets complicated. Solve the four squares in the bottom left corner, then the final 6 squares in the bottom right corner.
