I can relate to Phiullipe Entremont being an early inspiration. I agree somehow he's a little overlooked in relation to good he was. maybe he would have fared better as a german or russian - who knows...

jeez, i just watch his saint-saens piano concerto no 4 2nd mvt and now, what a difference i mean his body not his playing........... his playing still amazing,fabolous and nice sound!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Monsieur Philippe Entremont is an unique master of pianoforte. I had the honour and pleasure of listening his interpretation of Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No. 2 at the Palacio de las Bellas Artes in Mexico City, early in the 1990's. His technique is simply superior. Bravooo maestro!
