bought a gaming router [D-link DGL-4500] got a linksys best buy is not giving me my product then voided my computer 3 yr replacement plan

This post, and others like it, are just plain sad. I have returned many things to Best Buy and have NEVER had an issue. Even the wrong product being in the box....it was an ink cartridge...wrong one was in a perfectly sealed box. Can't fault Best Buy for that....they don't build the merchandise and package it....its shipped to them.

Rethink your argument before telling me my point is null. Also, most retailers (Best Buy and Wal-Mart included) have high standards when it comes to inventory accuracy....that would include your situation....if you are trying to blame it on an employee.

best buy attempted to scam me, by telling me that the aging dell laptop on display was a high end gaming rig with hdmi. well, turns out they messed with the wrong guy. here are specs: 2ghz core2 duo, integrated nvidia gpu, 1gb ram, windows vista, and no hdmi. shattered the guy's impression he was trying to make, followed up by a rude conversation with the store manager when i called and hung up on me THREE times. not to mention games from 2005 are still full price.
