@thatsmissfluffysama some shows do it to since one story will follow the comic and the other will be based with same characters but the writers for the show make the story that what happened in fullmetal it also happened in hellsing.But I don't know why in the case of this show since they are the same in both series

@thatsmissfluffysama fullmetal alchemist and brotherhood follow a similar story but its only when you get through to the later episodes that there appears to be a difference but I wont go to deep into it to spoil a show you might not of seen.But is this second series really just like the first ? I can't think of a reason they'd do that

i hate to say this, yeah it looks good and probally is more cleaned up than the first one but this is sorta a let down - couldn't they i don't know continue on from where they left off, or maybe instead of just redoing it all why not just follow the manga for once or is this going to be just like fullmetal alchemist and fullmetal alchemist brotherhood (i do love the show but are they just not creative enough to come up with new things or are they just that ashamed of how they originally did it)
