Arlene Foster, Minister of Enterprise, Trade and Investment, MLA for Fermanagh and South Tyrone, speaking in the Northern Ireland Assembly, September 26, 2011
@Devilock79, meh. Flouride in water is good for you as it is here in the UK. The environmental problems that could happen would be relatively more devestating than similar hapenings in the states. Land mass and reliance on the image of rural ireland would mean a greater impact if something did go wrong. To be honest after listening to RTE day in day out (my mum keeps it on in the kitchen) i wouldn't trust things to go smoothly anyway

@fomoran
Sure I suppose it wouldn't be much different to the fluoride we have coming out of the taps in the ROI.

@Devilock79 come on! Wouldn't possible flammable water coming out of your house taps be fun?

I had no idea what fracking was so I watched the following video:

It doesn't look like something we should be doing in Ireland.
