@odiseoo97 any of the others were a better choice than Madonna, she is not a good actress, she can sing yes but not act. Seems a bit of a scam really that she beat out all those other fantastic, epic actresses and most likely a "well this is her only chance we better give it to her" situation (IMO).

@radagasdas yes, she should at least have been nominated for the Oscars. By the way, I realised that Madonna hasn't won that many awards - BUT her career has been going on for close to thirty years nevertheless. And a varied career at that. She's done so many things in her life. And all the time, she's been at the receiving end of criticism. AND she has never been in rehab and all that. Really. Amazing, much? :-) no doubt people will take time to diss this comment. Oh well..
