Kevin Costner at Colorado College

Kevin Costner came to Colorado College in Colorado Springs on Monday, October 27, in a get out the vote rally for students in Worner student center. This is part of that rally and his statement.

The students then went door to door canvassing for Obama. He addressed his determination to cover this issue by mortgaging his Colorado home to make the movie, "Swing Vote", on the issue of every vote counts.

The College has been the target of a voter suppression drive by the local elections board that first LIED to students that they could not vote in the state if they claimed a residence in another state, and then had a GOP lawyer threaten them with the lost off their parent's IRS tax break as a dependent, if they vote in the state.

This has gotten a lot of attention from the party, so Mr. Costner came to the college after Senator Salazar, candidates Udall and Bidlack and Representative Merrifield.
