No matter what I do, I can't hear thought my speakers what I'm playing, there's just no signal on that meter. I can't figure out how to connect my instruments to my computer or anything. What about you make a video where you show all the equipment you need and step by step put it all together and record a little thing so I can see exactly how it's done, because it's hard to understand when you only record the screen and read from the help files that comes with MC that I've already read... =(

@CakewalkSoftware the USB that our instrument plugs into. can you answer the Question?

Since Cakewake isn't helping me at all I had to figure out how to make the sound playback by myself. What you have to do at least this worked for me is go to "Options" then audio then where it says "playback device" it was set on the microphone. So change the playback device to your speakers that the system detects. This worked for me, I hope it helps. P.S I shouldnt have to figure all this out just so I can use this software, I am not happy with it...

If you can't hear anything while you have a microphone plugged in, On windows 7 go down to your Speaker Icon and click on it, there should be two different speakers after that. Click on the one thats playing volume and go to where it says usage of device(enabled) and then click on disable. And Boom!

I know cakewalk is good stuff cause I used it 10 years ago... but where the hell is the advancement in user friendliness? This is unnecessarily complex
HEY GUYS EVERYTIME I CONNECT MY USB TO THE LAPTOP, THE SOUND FROM MY SPEAKERS GOES AWAY...WHY IS THAT?
