Interesting question, parents risk teen rebellion is they forbid the relationship. The best solution is to allow them to date but have them wait to get married till 18. Teens change relationships like they change T shirt. Likely of the infatuation lasting till 18 is pretty slim. And they will have learned a lesson as well.

I don't think the age really has anything to do with it. I think they should finish school and be able to support themselves first. Wouldn't matter if it was my daughter or my son but I would hope that I'd teach them well enough to make that kind of decision on their own otherwise they'll get married weather I approve of it or not. One of my friends got married in high school and I guess it's worked out for him but I don't expect that for everyone.

Im sorry, but whenever I hear a teen girl go "Oh, Im so inloved with him, I wanna get married to him now" I just laugh my ass off, because being a guy, I have an idea what the "boy" is thinking. Whats NOT funny is the number of teen pregnancies stemming from this.
To answer the question though, I would have to tell her to wait till she's 18. We all know how teenage minds change really quick.
