  • well the Dhala Lama told me I had been a tibetan monk & yogi in 3 previous lifetimes ... I reckon I ran away the first 2 ...

  • @ruzickaw what is the difference between ritual and practice? Regarding ritual per se, Gautama Buddha also said that nothing is absolute and singular, even his words. So how is that to be applied to the words you attribute him: 'rites and rituals are fetters'? Perhaps that not all are fetters or they are not always fetters. Is meditation ritual? Could be. Does it sometimes a fetter. Could be. Is it indispensable to reach enlightenment. Almost without any exception.

  • I Love Divine Magic - these are magicians

  • @ruzickaw ROFL .... It seems that YOU are wasting your live, posting brainless bla on the net!

  • Buddha said, that rites and rituals are fetters. They are no help to enlightenment.

But what are these monks doing? Wasting their lives with this useless noise.

  • Anyone recognise the puja & any of the statues?

  • Did Naropa travel in Tibet or Ladakh?
