Danza Featuring John & Gladys, Salsa Dance Performance Couple, Fresno California, April 19, 2009

Danza Latin Dance Ensemble is a Salsa Performance Group out of Fresno California. Directed by Gladys Alvarez. In this salsa dance routine the performance couple(Gladys Alvarez & John Singh) features a Rumba/Bolero introduction dance with the music of La Lupe and Tito Puente a song called "Que te Pedi". The second piece of the routine is a mambo-guaracha by the popular and talented couple Celia Cruz and Tito Puente, "Guarachera". This salsa performance routine aims to showcase the "roots of salsa music". Mr. John Singh is also a musician and a K-12 Instructor of music and choirs in the Fresno area. This performance took place at Vintage Days 2009 Fair at California State University, Fresno Campus, during the Annual Salsa Night Event.
