'Crap And Trade' -- Teabaggers Protest Clean Energy Summit

8/10/09: National Clean Energy Summit 2.0, held at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, attracted about 50 local right-wing protesters who argued that President Barack Obama's clean energy agenda is intended to destroy capitalism. Significantly outnumbered by progressive supporters of energy reform and green jobs, the protesters argued that global warming is a "hoax," worried that limits on carbon pollution will "dismantle capitalism," and questioned both Obama's patriotism and citizenship.

Is it a coincidence that these people are old enough to not worry about how global warming will effect us in 20 years because they will most likely be dead by then? They definitely aren't thinking of the type of life their grandkids will have.

It is a joke that these people don't believe in global warming with 96% of environmental scientists saying it is real and a terrible danger. Just in my garden, the first frost date is now almost 3 weeks later than 25 years ago. We need serious changes.

Just for the sake of knowledge, research this: BHObama went to Russia in "2004," two years before Americans had even become aware of his existence and negotiated an arms/nuclear reduction treaty. My question is this: Under what auspice did he do this?

This is NOT the type of work that a Senator from Illinois would be doing. At whose request did he travel to Russia and carry on Government level negotiations.
