@sanpatkan dude a correction is invited here...Dil is of persian origin...im pretty positive on that... just read the later comment-corrections in it are that Maula, arzoo, lab and gutgu have persian origin too... True@urdu is mixture of languages but does have some words of itself
I have heard the maula mere song. And you claim it to be an urdu song. Means only Maula word had made it urdu song. Can add arzoo, lab, guftgu,etc. few words. but still very few to call it urdu. hell very few songs has used complete full sentence in pure urdu; Basically urdu is itself a language of mixture. There are no urdu words. they are either Farsi or Hindi! So Dil is Hindi. If in rare case it is not hindi then it is farsi, but never urdu.
Yes zihal -e-miskeen is farsi. Urdu is a mixture of farsi and hindi. Kainaat word in the song chiya chyia is also farsi and so it is also urdu. Dil is purely hindi. Bur dil -e-nadan becomes urdu; And I say correctly having less than one percent words does not make the song of that language.
