I'm a full on old school V8 guy and there's still a lot of people out there like me that look down on the ricer shit and it's clear they just don't know. You guy's are doing some very very nice work.

@hpjunky70 Thanks HP, nice to get comments like that from a V8 guy, alot of the old school guys KNOW the jappa's can do some good things but not many are prepared to admit it, thanks and check out some of my other vids, we are running 7.2s with the same street 182ci RB30 on petrol and doing rather well at the strip against the V8 boys :-)

@93grech I don't want to say yes because I havn't checked myself but it is quite common to swap cams from one RB to another so it may be do-able.

Rips i really wanna know is a RB capable of making 2000+hp.

@93grech If you have enough money it would be, The most I know of is around 1600-1700whp which would have to be getting pretty close to 2000hp

@Littlemac181 The motor in the 240z did 2 full seasons at 1300-1400hp then untouched went into a dragster and ran low 7s for another full season, it was then checked, found to be mint, did rings and bearings only, did another full season and won the NZ championship. Only maintainence throughout that whole time was 2 oil changes and a set of spark plugs.

iv been watching these guys for years!!!always loved them! especially last weekend wen they broke the wr with i think it was a 7.14.with there rb30.was freaken nuts!!..uz should try doin sumthing with lower specs.if any1 in this country could it would be use!! theres a honda in the states doing 8s with a 2L fwd 4cyl n/a.k20a engine, think its the dvs civic ... uz should try doin sumthing like that.like i said, if any1 can itl be r.i.p.s!!!!!

@RIPSNZ Yup, and you know it hurts just that much more when you get beat by something that sounds like a bunch of pissed off bee's. So much for the old saying of "no replacement for displacement". Also, i'm impressed w/your fab work. Those are some beutiful welds. Someone has devoted their life to a welder. In a matter of speaking of course. Very nice lookin stuff.
