2007 TSB 28-team COM vs COM tournament finals ! (Part 1)

The Minnesota Vikings (1) meet the New York Giants (3) in the finals of this tournament.

This tourney is something I created years ago when I got bored and decided to put all Tecmo Super Bowl (NES) teams in a single elimination tourney. The seeds are picked randomly and has nothing to do with talent at all.

Road to the finals

Minnesota Vikings (1)

1st round : bye
2nd round : beat Cleveland (27) 24-14
1/4 finals : beat Miami (26) 24-3
1/2 finals : beat L.A. Raiders (11) 10-0

New York Giants (3)

1st round : bye
2nd round : beat Buffalo (24) 31-24
1/4 finals : beat San Francisco (17) 27-21
1/2 finals : beat Washington (8) 24-3

Notes
* it's the 1st time 2 teams who had a 1st round bye will meet in the finals.
* The Vikings, with a win, would be the 1st #1-seed to win the tourney.
* The Giants, with a win would be the 1st team to win this tourney for the 2nd time. It would also be their 2nd in a row. Howerer, it would not be the best seeded team to win the tourney, as the Philadelphia Eagles did it as the #2-seed, 2 years ago.
