i know journeymen who have been doing this for 20 to 30 years who wouldn't climb without fall arrest now and they encourage and make damn sure that every one else wears their safety gear. sometimes all you get is one mistake and its game over. you can call me what ever you want for wearing my fall arrest but my safety and the safety of others around me is my highest priory.

Sissy-one who is scared to wear safety gear because he fears ribbing from others. No way would I say linemen are sissies unless they are scared to wear safety equipment.

A safe chump is much better than a dead or crippled chump. People who refuse to use safety gear are the real sissies in the construction industry.
