  • I loved this era because I was young and naive and there was no internet dirt sheets to tell us that everything we saw on TV was fake. I was a true wrestling fan back in this era and I thought it was all real! wrestling is simply not fun when you know everything is staged. Thats why I'm an MMA guy all the way, but dont get me wrong I still like to watch wrestling but the magic is gone for me.

  • Now THAT is how you sell a fucking angle, right there.

  • @theraVen27 RIP Curt Henning. This was a very serious injury to Flair; one of the more serious real injuries he ever suffered in the ring. Love me some Nature Boy. Semper Fi.

  • I was in the 6th grade. The day after Nitro, I couldn't help but think how EVIL the nWo and Curt Hennig were. I couldn't stop thinking about Ric Flair and the shot of his injured head. I know this might draw some heat saying this, but when you're 12 years old things like this horrify you and this was my 6th grade version of 9/11. For a whole week, it was all i could think about. Yes, I did think wrestling was real back then. Pretty emotional moment for my childhood.

  • Schiavone sold it well, miss those days.

  • Head shot

  • @ohbabyimpriceless Except you were watching the wrong show.

  • It would have worked if we cared for the announcers. I hated Shivonne as well as Zybysko. They were just very annoying even though this was doen very well.

  • ALEX WRIGHT!! ...at the end

  • ha watch the clip of this.

Flair was legit hurt..they just played off of it.

the man looks dead laying there

  • I remember this when it happened. I was a big 4 Horsemen fan. It happened in Horsemen Country, and seemed surreal. I remember the Monday Nitro (or Thunder) following the PPV when Curt came out in Flairs ripped up robe and someone threw a soda and hit Curt in the head..I was cheering at the fact they beaned him...Interestingly enough, I now miss Curt Hennig. RIP my friend

  • The head into the cage door became quite passe after Terry Gordy did it to Kerry Von Erich. As a matter of fact, Ric Flair was involved in that particular cage match.
