lennon here shows hes a much shrewder operator then dylan. w/ the camera rolling lennon knew he had more to lose, then to rap obiliterated while the camera is rolling. dylan isnt drunk here, hes sounds like hes tripping hard on acid. its peeled him back to an infantile 15 yr old like demeanor. its shows his insecurities and trying to oneups lennon, so not to be called out. he feared lennon b/c he knew john grew up tougher in liverpool then bob's sheltered middleclass hibbing upbringing.

Both geniouses, no doubt. Dylan drunk is more profound the Lennon sober. But they are BOTH profound under any circumstances, nevertheless.

Well, I think Lennon just looks comparatively sober and more self-conscious about the camera. It's hardly one of Dylan's best moments, is it?
