MW2 Advanced Technique: OHK Bashing

When performing a Riot Shield Melee Attack, interrupt it with a Throwing Knife to turn it into a One-Hit-Kill "melee". The melee helps you sort'a target-lock the enemy with the throwing knife, but you still need to adjust for fast moving enemies.

Would Semtex work just as good?

@einstienear The Semtex wouldn't work this way. The reason it works for the Throwing Knife is because of the quickness the knife is thrown, while the Semtex takes a long time to throw after you've pressed R2 (or RB... whatever the button is on the 360). By the time you throw it, the target will have long moved away.

instead of doing this all you have to do is have some equipment you could switch back to. like for example i use a C4 with scavenger, lightweight, and commando, all i do is bash once and once i do that i pull out my C4 pack(but dont throw it) while still holding the C4 switch back to the riot shield then bash again. TAKES A LITTLE PRACTICE TO MAKE IT FASTER

@I8Urpants That's called Melee Canceling, and I can do it. I was going to make a video on it, but, honestly, it's only useful in certain situations. For example, if the enemy is facing you, you are at a very high risk of getting stabbed during the split second where you take out your equipment. After all, they instinctually melee right after your bash. If you have a Throwing Knife, this is the better option.

i have a lot of technicks with riot shield honest they must be 2 or more to beat me. i use the eagle hand gun couse it swap very quick,also you should jump and hit them when they try to to shoot at your feets i can easy go with 10-15-4

I don't get it. These are throwing knife kills. Not One Hit Riot Shield kills. You just wasted 4:07 of my life.

Nice video, was looking for Melée Cancelling vid but this may well be a better idea, I shall try it out.
