its still not showing my ipod under my computer :( even when I uncheck that option on itunes

@MyPaige23 Ok... I'm not sure about this, but try going to the My Computer and finding your iPod there as a storage disk. If it is there click on it twice. It would open it up (hopefully). And if that doesn't work, go and try looking at some other tutorials that don't include some software that you have to download. Also, this video was made a very long time ago (before 3GS) so some things could have changed. Try that.

that does open when i plug in mine its just opens itunes right away help????!?!?!!?

@m4carbineplayer that means, you have to go to iTunes (while your iPod/iPhone is plugged in), navigate to the screen with your device iPod/iPhone and in the bottom of the Summary page in the section Options uncheck "Open iTunes when this iPhone/iPod is connected. Ask if you have any more questions.

@montrose5paulina Try looking for it in the My Computer section. It would be towards the bottom of the list, probably as a camera sign.
