Probably the best that the Game Gear had to offer. The other games are pretty fun too (save for GG Spinball) imo, but Triple Trouble definitely has more universal appeal than those games. Especially when you consider the brutally difficult Sonic 2 and patronizingly basic Sonic Chaos that came directly before it, I'd say this game's difficulty is just about right.

@HypersonicHero Yes I consider this the best GG sonic game it feels more like the genesis titles. GG never appealed to me (because it was just a handheld sega master system their nes and I do not like that console as it focused way too much on graphical presentation limiting the capabilities of the sprites and had a horrendous sound range) but I did play this at walmart when it was new and enjoyed it still do now that I can emulate it.

I am sooo glad you posted this!

@nineko Nice, thanks! Love the videos btw!

Why do you use...whatever emulator you use?
Everything in the noise channel is really high pitched and it sounds like when people use high hats in MIDIs to imitate noise.
Also I shit myself around the 2 minute mark when I saw you strike dash through the breakable wall.

@Tr0tim Oh man I hated Sleeping Egg zone :P
Incidentally, I have a complete Sonic Chaos playthrough ready as well, and I am about to upload it. Check back on my channel in a few hours :)

@UltraMagnus3786 Yes. Emerald = start next act with 50 rings; Ring = add 10 rings to your current ring count; Sonic when playing as Sonic = 1-Up; Tails when playing as Tails = 1-Up; Tails when playing as Sonic = 10000 points; Sonic when playing as Tails = 10000 points; Knuckles = Continue; Flicky = nothing.
Emerald and Ring don't work properly between SPZ2 and SPZ3, probably because of the peculiar level transition. Getting an Emerald in SPZ2 gives you 50 rings in MJZ1.
