"Rick?.. he's the kind of man that, well, if I were a woman, and I were not around, I should be in love with Rick" Wonderful line, as they all were. And so, so true. Without Bogie and Bergman it would not have been as good, but everything else about it is perfect as well.

A little aside, Bogart was no Elephant Man in terms of looks, but i have a really hard time swallowing the wish-wash from this pack of 'models turned actors' we have going these days. It's totally ruined the horror genre for example. Empathy is crucial in cinema; try feeling empathy for a model...near impossible imo...
