Sa prononciation n'est pas mauvaise, mais elle n'est pas francophone, bien sûr. Vous avez déjà entendu Pavarotti, Freni, Corelli, Christoff etc., chanter en français? Leur prononciation est loin d'être parfaite mais nous les aimons tout de même. De toute façon, les paroles de cette chanson importent peu.

This was super fun to watch during the HD transmission (which will be on again Jan 6). Close-ups of singers going for high notes can sometimes be disconcerting, but she made it all look so effortless, and she was almost always spot-on. Good in her movements, too: trying doing that thing she does where she winds down, bending over, then comes back up with a fast spring motion ... it is not easy, and she had to mix it in with singing.

When I watch Dessay's version, and the horrible job the director did, I am shocked at the crudeness of interpretation. Desssay's voice is lovely, but the scene was crude and unappetizing.
