  • All police community meetings like this need to be filmed and shared with the rest of the community that did not attend the meetings. We commend the Commander of Manhattan North for his openess and apparently sincere effort to address the needs of the community. He should make it NYPD policy that all community meetings should be filmed. Those concerned about retaliation can submit their complaints in writing and let the chair of the police rep read them.

  • He is right!!

  • That's what all those white folks get for trying to move in & takeover Harlem.

  • Is there more white people living in Harlem than Blacks?

  • This is absolutely the worse precinct. I live in the area and there is drug dealing going on the ENTIRE day and into the early morning right outside my window, but I have NEVER seen any police. There are people being loud and aggressive even at 2-3 in the morning, and no cops. I mean, peaceful protesters at Wall Street? The cops are right there. I forget to feed the parking meter? The cops are right there. But no cops in a neighborhood rife with drugs and gangs? Shameful.

  • GET RID OF THE BLACKS.

    Problem Solved

  • yea but when the NYPD engages in enforcdement based on the descriptions and info given to them via police reports and eyewitness accounts, these are the same people that start protesting the NYPD and their efforst as Profiling and racist.

  • I am actually glad they showed this video b/c now you can actually see and hear all types of people complain about whats going on in their community. So when this is addressed, and the police act on these crimes, people wont bring up police brutality just based on race differences.

  • then the police stop the young black men hanging on the corner and there is a out cry in racial profiling....
