Tracy Miller is a Gold Star Mother for Peace. On March 19, 2008, she was one of the speakers at an anti-war rally in Baltimore, MD. Her son, Marine Cpl. Nicholas Ziolkowski, was killed in the Iraq War on Nov. 14, 2004. Ms. Miller said: "We need our troops home!" She also pondered how do your explain "the concept of never" to her late son's niece, [her granddaughter], a three-year old, who wanted to know "when is Uncle Nicky coming to my house?" The event was entitled: "Winter Soldier and Baltimore Speak Out." It was held at the Govans Presbyterian Church. Carla Nealy served as the Emcee. i understand it sucks to have a family member die but as a soldier we are prepared in our minds to take the ulitimate sacrifice if we come home now all the troops that have died well they died for nothing if we decide to stop the mission , if we pull out we have accepted defeat ... and i cant live with that

and what about health care, soldiers are returning with ptsd and many are suicidal, as you know. i hate war and feel sad that so many people have to suffer because of it. when will the human race evolve and stop killing each other?

My son is a guardsman and he is being deployed to Iraq. Poor Tracy Miller, I can not even begin to imagine how she is suffering. no one wants to be gold star family

I don't support the war...I do support the troops...but I am curious..what happens to the unemployment rate when you bring 160,000 young men and women home to a country that has no jobs to offer?
