Cult Hero - I Dig You (1979).wmv

I Dig You se incluye en el single I'm a cult hero, single concebido por Robert Smith en 1979 bajo el nombre de Cult Hero. Cult Hero fue un proyecto más que efímero concebido por el líder de The Cure junto a Simon Gallup. Smith quería probar la compatibilidad musical entre ambos antes de que Gallup se incorporara a The Cure. Tras este single Simon Gallup se incorporaría a The Cure, es decir, Robert Smith quedó satisfecho con la experiencia.
El single contiene Im a cult hero y I dig you, ambos temas fueron escritos por Robert Smith para que los interpretara Frank Bell, cartero local en Horley. Además de los tres citados, en este trabajo intervienen otros componentes ilustres de The Cure; Porl Thompson, Lol Tolhurst, Michael Dempsey y Matthieu Hartley, además de las hermanas de Robert Smith (Janet y Margaret).
En fin, no se puede pedir más, rareza entre las rarezas.

El proyecto Cult hero fue un aporte que hiso Robert Smith al cartero de Crawley quien tenia la idea de lanzarse como cantante y compuso los dos temas que salieron en el disco promocional, estos temas fueron I dig you y Cult hero
