  • "In science it often happens that scientists say, 'You know that's a really good argument; my position is mistaken,' and then they would actually change their minds and you never hear that old view from them again. They really do it. It doesn't happen as often as it should, because scientists are human and change is sometimes painful. But it happens every day. I cannot recall the last time something like that happened in politics or religion."

  • Video isn't working for me! Side note: Everyone should subscribe to Sketpic magazine, seriously. It's well worth your time and money, unlike most of the drivel that's out there.

"having his ass handed to him"

    hahahaha not even close.

  • For those interested in seeing Shermer having his ass handed to him by the brilliant and far more "Bright" Stephen C. Meyer, check out my profile. Once you see the intellectual beatdown Meyer gives him you'll never look at Shermer the same again.

    Thanks

  • Drop the PowerPoint crutch already. More is not better: PowerPoint poisons everything.

  • politics and religion seem to function the same. The strength of ones political ideas seem to relate with how someone's religious sentiments...
