I don't let my disablity get the best of me

I can't really say I am 'proud to be disabled' ..I'm 'okay with' for the most part and when stuff doesn't get in the way as a result etc and in some instances and some aspects of my disabilities sometimes might even be 'kinda cool' (kinda like how I feel about being short, I really like it, but its not like I 'earned' it or its something controlled or accomplished).. okay so, yeah maybe all that that really probably wouldn't fit on anybody's palm but King Kong's-anyway, like videos. Subscribed.

Your sick dude. The guy in this video is writing all kinds of words on his hand in many videos. And he claimed to be white. He may have some white in him, but he also has some type of Native American or Asian in him too. These videos are lame.

A common experience for me is having people (and when its people in charge of helping me this can be kinda bad) actually get a bit upset when they see me and first think I am this sort of 'cute' (I mean in a certain disabled way and not attractive-wise) happy-go-lucky little stubby angelic elven sort of creature or something, and then they find out that there's really a whole person in here, its almost like 'hey, you lied to me, you fooled me" when I did no such thing, it was their own notion.

Being disabled doesn't equal angel status. That's an unintentional (and even a very nice and favorable) mild bias and stereotype, its still a bias and a stereotype. I have been disabled all my life, have been around other disabled all my life, believe me, myself as well as others can be sneaky and devious and feel all the 'bad' emotions etc too, because even if we're packaged a bit differently in one way or another, we still come equipped with the same stuff as others, its called being human.
