@Tawnsta96 Looking at the FIFA Laws of the Game it does say it has to be deliberate, but it also says "This punishment arises not from the act of the player deliberately handling the ball but from the unacceptable and unfair intervention that prevented a goal being scored", and objectively speaking, regardless of whether or not Kewell deliberately handled the ball, it was still unfair to Ghana that their goal was denied by an arm
@cynderfan2233 Dude he blocked a shot with his arm that was clearly going into the goal, whether or not it was intentional became not important and therefore out of consideration when issuing the red card
@TheChealseaFC yes i know, but when serbia played against australia referee didnt call for penalty.the australian player not did he just play hadnball but he turned, saw the ball coming and hit it with his elbow.if he called a penalty we would have a draw of 2-2 and serbia would have passed
@TheChealseaFC well this handball waasnt on purpose,it hit him in the hand.the ghana player kicked it and australian player didnt even see it.then why didnt the ref call for penalty when australia played handball against serbia?ref said it wasnt on purpose.he damaged us baddly.and yes it was a cheap penalty
ghana go what they deserved haha

The ref in this match was crap. He obviously read the rule book backwards.
He gave a red card for an accidental hand ball- Which should equal either a warning or a yellow card.
And there were at least 6 times that Ghanian players slide tackled from behind which is an immediate red card but he gave out warnings and yellows.
That what you get from an rubbish ref. I've never seen such a terrible display in all my life.

Look at those Ghana players cheering Kewell's undeserved red card. Justice was served to them against Uruguay though.
