This was a personal best for me. For the 2007 indoor rowing season this row ended ranked #2 in the U.S. and #18 worldwide for the lightweight 40-49 age group.

It's bad race pacing; did a "fly & die". Dipped below 1:30 pace at times but finished at a 1:44 pace. Total time was 1:33.7

*note: something screwy happened to the sound during download - it's behind the video by several seconds.

  • I'm 12 and pull an average 1.15/500m split for 45000 metres just like everyone else sitting at a keyboard. I can do better if I try.

  • @Gales99 Jeesuz, someone finally get it!

    LOL

  • nice. i have a model d with pm3, how do i access total meters rowed?

  • @kumquatsta You need to have a log card. Total meters rowed is listed under the Summary for the log card.

  • working on your technique will help you get a few seconds of your time

  • @Leonisgoed Yes, I've improved my technique since this video some three years ago and have shaved off even more time.

  • Erging is the fastest way to a full-body ass-kicking that there is. I do 8x8-minute pieces with 2 minutes rest in between each and I feel like I am going to die after just the first one. And thats only pulling a 1:55 avg split. Your fitness is impressive. Keep it up!

  • Yo diria que tan raìdo nose puede empezar

  • ur using an awful lot of arm muscle. balance it our more

  • @capinyoassproduction

Kiddo, I did this when you were 9 years old. How fast were you rowing back then?

More importantly, how fast does your dad row?

  • I'm 15 year old and at an ergometer competition in Holland I did over 500 meters 1:31,6 and 1:32,3 and became 2nd! =)

  • @bluekletztette

I manage to pull a max of 1:28, however for my height (1.63m, not how tall that is in foot), and my weight of 50kg, it's decent. I'm also only 17. From your description, I would imagine you're a lot bigger than I am, so I would be surprised if you were not able to pull around low 1:20's/ high 1:10's. Be sure to have good technique on the ergos and you should be able to do this easily.

  • @PandemoniumBandable you have to take a little bit water on your seat ;)

  • @roosc5765 sure man

  • @PandemoniumBandable try not to drive up to your footboard to much and you have to push hard on your legs but if you go 100% when your in the front you will push upwards rather then backwards.
