The Virgin Mary Apparition 1968-70 in Zeitoun, Egypt

Our Lady of Zeitoun was a mass Marian apparition that occurred in the Zeitoun district of Cairo, Egypt, over a period of 2-3 years beginning on April 2, 1968. It was reportedly witnessed by many thousands of people, including Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser, and captured by newspaper photographers and Egyptian television. According to witnesses, the Virgin Mary appeared in different forms over the Coptic Orthodox Church of Saint Mary at Zeitoun for a period of 23 years. The apparitions lasted from a few minutes up to several hours and were sometimes accompanied by dove-shaped luminous bodies. The sick and blind are said to have been cured, and many people converted to Christianity as a result. The Coptic church approved of these apparitions

Cool, is there a video so I can see it myself? or did nobody have video cameras? or maybe a colour, non grainy photograph. Or maybe god could do it again in front of a televised news camera?

@KevinLounsberry . This apparition happened in 1968 . common people only had black and white cameras . If you want to see a color video of another apparition in 2009 you can search for "Mary Apparition in Warraq" on youtube. But the problem is people who don't want to believe will always find excuses and arguments.

Any apparition which claims to be our co-redeemer, co-redemptrix, our intercessor, our suffering servant, universal mediator of graces, our refuge, our advocate to save us, our mediator, immaculately conceived, the savior of the world, ark of salvation and suffers on our behalf for the atonement of sins IS A LIAR. These are all attributes of God Himself, Jesus Christ. This isn't Mary. This is Satan. Satan's coolaid looks good.....it smells good....it tastes good.....oops you're dead.

To those who claim that our Catholic veneration (NOT worship) of Mary is evil, consider this: She is Jesus' Mom! The Mother He chose to live with for 30 of His 33 years. If we as children of God are Jesus' brothers, then is she not our Mother? If Jesus is indeed God, is she not the Mother of God? (Not creating God, but -- with the Holy Spirit -- creating Jesus, both man and God? Finally, when you get to the Judgment Seat of Jesus, will He appreciated how you spoke of His Mom?
