@Drummerthatismetal and there from seattle, this arguement can go on for centuries, alice in chains were and are heavy metal, jerry even said so himself many times in countless interviews, guitar solo's should give people the hint, i couldn't really give a shit though because grunge is one of the hundreds of offshoots in the metal family anyway. We need to bag out rubbish like lil wayne or beiber not whats grunge or metal. Embrace good music and bag out garbage and douche's.

@einarabelc5 Don't know bout u...but I got so gadddammed tired of punk at about 1980, it all sounded the same then, but then later I liked the grunge thing- at least there were some differences in tempo and mixing of chords punk never truly had...alwaysthoughtthe punkers were retarded...these guys are not exactly nobel lauriates either, altho I heard michael starr has a phd in literature: what a f*ckin waste of intellect!!
