Sharlotte Gibson is the name of the backup singer. Carrie IS amazing...I won't argue with that. I will say though that its not fair to use fame as the measure of a persons talent. Carrie had the benefit of massive national exposure from American Idol at a time when "Idol" still mattered to people. It gave her a platform to showcase her talent before recording a single song. Like I said I agree she's amazing. But judging from the many comments here u can give Ms. Gibson some props too.
