This I of the ssg motor I have built and it work will for charging battery and that is all. But if you would like to build one look at the diagram.

  • hello, does the coil have to wind in a neat and orderly way, or could just wind it any way as long it is bifilar?

  • @yewtee3291 It will be a better coil if you wind in a neat and orderly way.

  • what wires are the trigger wires the beginning of the coil and switch it to the end of the coil to see if the spins then right?

  • @cloverpark2011 Look at the diagram in the video to see the trigger wires. Where the wire goes for magnet wire to regular wire, that is where you switch them. And yes, after you do this see if it will run.

  • Hi there, can you make a step by step tutorial for making this bedini motor? I really want to make one, I dont know much about electricity, but I am willing to learn. Thanks.

  • @acrophobia123 Thanks, That is good to know.

  • @1986edgaras I doubt it is your transistor as I have replaced the transistor in my motor with almost every NPN transistor in my parts box which is around 40-50 differant model transistors and almost all of them worked great, not sure how effiecient they were but they at least got it running with minimal effect on speed. Just make sure they are rated for the voltage you are using.. I found C2168 out of an old tv to be a great match for my motor

  • @1986edgaras depending on how small your neomagnets are that may be the problem, first bedini motor I made I used 1/4 neo magnets from a magnetix set, the unit was made with cds and maglev so there was hardly any friction at all.. The magnets wouldnt trigger the coils they were to small and I had 12 of them, I switched over to four 1 7/8" x 1" x 1/2" ceramic magnets and the thing worked great. Hope this helps.

  • @1986edgaras First check your circuit and see if you have everything hooked up right. If you have everythng hooked up right then try take the two wires from your trigger coil and try switching them. Let me know if this helps!

  • Hello

I have a problem with my circuit. The transistor doesn't get triggered by the trigger wind of the coil. The meter shows 0.01 to 0.12V max but transistor needs 7V. Do you have any ideas?

The coil is 950 winds with 0.4mm as trigger and 0.5mm power wire. as it says on the drawing. the magnets I'm using are neodymium n35 small ones.

    I appreciate all the help.
