Although it's hard to imagine this piece of techno wizardry was NEVER recorded in stereo, some tweaking can make all the difference. I forgot about Rebecca Holden in the second series. TV Intro to the popular cult 80's series. Created by Glen A. Larson. Theme Composed by Stu Phillips. With David Hasselhoff, Edward Mulhare, Patricia McPherson, Peter Parros and William Daniels as the voice of KITT (basically a Pontiac Trans-Am). Richard Basehart is the voice of Wilton Knight. Originally broadcast on NBC. Complete series ran from 1982 to 1986 with the first series starring Rebecca Holden. One man CAN make a difference.

  • Rebecca Holden was a FOX!! She is better looking then any woman on T.V. today!!

  • I grew up with that series, anbd it was a huge hit even in Germany. Yes, KITT was highly modern for that time, and it's intresting to watch it even today to see that some of this "fantasy" elements from back then have truly become reality!

  • 80s babes were the best

  • My father who died last Aug used to love watching this show. I enjoyed as a kid spending time and watching it with him. He normally hated scifi and action shows but he enjoyed this show, especially the KITT and Micheael's interactions and the silly humor, a charm the new series seemed to lack. Sometimes watching the old shows brings up memories

  • Nitrided Steel!

  • This series seemed more respectful with European cars than American modern movies use to be. Devon, for instance, owned a few Mercedes and if I´m not wrong, none of them was destroyed or ended up in poor conditions... as in all probabity they would in a action modern film. There was also a golden Ferrari in one chapter (which they called as something else) and though with problems, at least it ended in one piece too.

  • 7 people don't know the definition of "cool"...

  • Best tv intro theme... ever.

  • A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.
