This one is unusual, because it has what could be interpreted as - dare I say it - Ariel bashing.

I know, I know. It's shocking. Well, I wanted to look at things from a new perspective. So I tried something new. Er... by making my favourite mermaid look like a crazy obsessed stalker. To be honest, I have a friend who reminds me a little of Ariel, and I'm just a little bit narked at her at now. I think this is my form of bitching. Sorry Ariel XD

Obviously this is up to interpretation, as usual. But the intended idea was to show Ariel in her weaker light. She is so juvenile that she puts herself in real danger for someone she doesn't know. Now, usually I would come back with 'YEH, YEH, BUT SHE WANTED TO BE A HUMAN ANYWAY. ERIC WAS JUST A CATALYST.' That is quite right, angry!grace. However, I thought it would be fun just to ignore that part of me this time. It was quite good looking at tlm from a whole different angle because it got my creative juices really flowing.

Now if you think this song was a strange choice, just think about all the things I just said. Now think about what an insect is. It's weak and insignificant. A pest. So easily squished.
