Kim assembled some the Best players in California
when he relocated to So. Calif in the early 90's. This
footage is from a TV show in Germany, and on tour
in support of his LP/CD released in the same time
frame, under the title name "Tigerman". Well worth
owning if you happen to be a devoted Kim Wilson
fan & follower, such as myself.

The Stellar Band line up doesn't get any better,
as we see THE Cream of the Crop in a supporting
role. It's by coincidence that these guys all live in
California...they are some of the top, well recognized
blues musicians on the planet, in this & that decade.

Well, for me, the names alone speaks for itself.
Maybe thats just me. Naaa...these r sum bad azzmofo's!
I know, that you know, that I know...

Junior Watson - Guitar
Rusty Zinn - Guitar
Larry "The Mole" Taylor - Upright Acoustic Bass
Richard "BigFoot" Innes - Drums
Gene Taylor - Piano

& of course...the Great............Kim Wilson

  • Fantastic voice. Killer harp too. Always has great players with him too.

  • Always said that Kim is up there with the Greats,I just thank God to have lived to hear all them. I wonder what the scene will be a hundred years time. I hope there will be Peace in The World, music never killed anyone !.

  • Best player, other than Kim...Rusty Ziinn, just wish he'd get back to da BLUES...

  • This would be classified as a "Super Group"---**********, 10 stars.

  • I saw this line-up, same year, when the TIger Man album was released, at The Plantation Club in Worcester, Mass. Rusty Zinn on 2nd guitar, was about 18 at the time. I talked to him about it recently while on tour with Mark Hummel, and he said, "Man, with Junior and Kim on stage, I was scrambling just to keep up. I didn't have a clue what I was doing there with those guys, but I was loving it!" :- )

  • great sound is that a fender amp kim is using

  • What a line-up! Wish I'd been there.

  • every time i see an older clip of Kim it blows my mind how good he's been for so long, and he's better now than ever and still getting better! a privilege to live in this great era for blues that he's helped to create.
