Shame there is a huge bug which means this box won't output 5.1 audio. :(

Just reserved mine at Argos, I'm still sceptical about parting with my £170 but it will go nicely with my new HD TV which is currently in SD. I wasn't aware that HD was possible via freeviw, but granada have already rolled it out across my region. Maybe I should wait a bit untill the prices go down and the HD programmes increase. I have the money to go and buy it now but I can buy better things with it.

bought one, superb image of course but only 2 channels at the moment in Freeview HD - BBC & ITV, still great for the big sporting occasions.
HDMI Cable is included but not gold plated.

no freeview hd box will work on mine wantd watch the WC in hd.

@all10980 As long as you have an HD-ready TV, and connect it to the Humax HD box via an HDMI cable (supplied for free with the HD-FOX T2), then you'll be able to get the Freeview HD channels. Channel 4 now on board to join ITV and BBC HD channels - plus S4C for Welsh viewers.
