@guitarsandme Current favorite for the music I'm making right now is the Suhr. It does the mid-gain thing beautifully and has amazing clarity through darker amps. The PRS is smooth for leads and raw for rhythms and I like that too. It's a keeper, but not entirely what I hear in my head at the moment.

@Ins4n3Guit4rist I find that jamming the chords gives one a better idea of what melodies to play. See if that helps.
